May 9, 2009 · But the back-light wasn't working. After so many tries & even resetting the watch it didn't work. Finding for solutions & no results & I went to sleep. Next day I took it in my own hands & opened the back cover only know how complicated it can be to change even battery. G shock service centre can do like a pro but any others it's a gamble.

May 12, 2009 · The only non-working feature is the back light. About a year ago the light became dimmer and dimmer and then completely vanished. When I press the button now there is no light activity whatsever. The battery is fully charged (or so the indicator says), the watch sits in the window when it is not being worn.
